I look away — I've got enough to do today.

There's a child in a dress
But I endure it.
She's singing songs about sex
& the world knows her name.
She's crowded around
By a prosthetic cloud

There's a fire in the East
But I ignore it.
They speak different to me
So I can't relate.

I look away — my paper walls will keep me safe.
